Hey,
I’ve got a slightly unusual proposition for you. I couldn’t find any other way of contacting you I’m afraid – please don’t worry about publishing this comment!
I’ve been working on a project with a friend of mine who recently returned from a Year Abroad having made a lot of mistakes. He spent two weeks in terrible accommodation (Quebec YMCA) and completely underestimated the amount of money he’d need to spend. He wanted to set up a website where students could share their year abroad experiences, for the benefit of future students. You can see what we’ve come up with at YearsAbroad.com.
You have some fantastically helpful content on your blog, and your articles are very well-written and comprehensive. I was really wondering if we could cite a couple of posts, of course linking to this site with a blurb at the top of every one. Yearsabroad is entirely not-for-profit – we’re simply running it as a helpful advice site.
If that sounds good, you may also want to sign up for our forums at http://forums.yearsabroad.com – we haven’t fully launched the site as yet (when we do, we’ve got an number of Universities sending out mailshots), but it would be great if there was a thread by you offering to answer relevant questions.
Please let me know what you think. My email is seb@yearsabroad.com.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Seb
Ah – looks like it published
Sorry about that!
